help with getting sound from new 8.10 install and using a firepod
 

I just could not stand Win XP any more so I installed Ubuntu 8.10. The
install went ok but the firepod that I had connected to the system is not avaiable to the system for sound capture or playback. I installed JACK hopping that it would see the firepod hadware but no luck. Please help me with getting the presonus firepod haardware working in my new Lunix install..... Please
