Help with creating a backup

Can someone answer what commands they would do for this example?

backup the /etc/sysconfig, /bin and /root directories. Use dump command with bzip2 compression 3 and the dump file should be called /backup/full_backup.dump. THis job should occur on the 6th day of every month at 12pm

Thanks alot.

Hi,

This sounds very close to homework. You'll not find a lot of users at LQ eager to do it for you. Show us what you have come up with and we'll take a look at it.

Kind regards,

Eric
