Help with bluetooth
Hello, can anyone show me the direction on how to make bluetooth work with linux.
I need to connect to my access point using a bluetooth dongle connected in my pc. In windows I do it using Widdcom software, I have no idea how to do it in linux so please help me. thanks |
Uhhh, more information...
What distrobution/desktop environment are you using? Bluetooth in linux is relatively easy to set up but more information would be fantastic. |
Sorry.
I'm using Libranet 2.8.1 with kernel 2.4.21... I'm also using KDE 3.1. Also what I want to do is to establish a network connection with my bluetooth access point through my dongle. I don't have to share my internet connection, just connect to the access point. thanks |
You'll need to go to www.bluez.org and install bluez-libs and bluez-utils. Then install kbluetoothd and it'll all become very easy :)
