Unhappy Help With Banshee Voodoo


I need help with linux, i'm using Mandrake 7.1 and i can't install my video card well, is installed 'cuz i can see true color and 1024x768, but i want to set a higher resolution and i can't make it work. A friend told me that try to find a newer driver for my video card, but i don't know how and where to search drivers for linux. Plz help.

When I was using MDK 7.1 I had a 16MB Voodoo Banshee AGP card running @ that resolution on a 17" CRT .Anything higher than that it would pixliate badly.It wasnt that great @ 1024x768 let alone a higher resolution.I switched to an ATI card and it worked great at all settings.
