Help with adsl and redhat 9
 

I have gone through a couple of theads and other sites to but to no avial. I am also stuck using redhat 9 and the dreaded speedtouch 330 modem (new look red one) I also have the stedy green lights on but I can surf to any web sites etc etc...... Please can someone help me I am a totel novice on Linux and I am giving up hope! Please dont leave me stuck in the shitty world of BILL GATES any longer AHHHHHHHHH!

did you run 'neat' to configurate your adsl modem?

You want to go to the main (red hat) menu-> system tools-> network device controls pick your nic my was listed as eth0 witch didn't work delete it and click add under device type pick xDSL and give it all your logon info when done and back in the main screen click "activate" you should be up and running.

NO I DOESNT FIND MY MODEM AHHHH!
