Unhappy help urgently needed


i got my husband a second hand netbook.we have only ever used windows and im stuck.this is a linpus linux lite.when i try to go on facebook theres just a few lines like in box etc but my page and pictures are nowhere to be seen.also this firefox thing has a problem with everything i try to go on.help

downland the newest and update the OS as well ('yum update' at the command line)

Unfortunately the operating system "linpus lite" on that machine is basically
garbage

linups figures that your "netbook" is an appliance , like a toaster
and you DO NOT update your toaster,tv remote, or your refrigerator

a light weight Desktop manager like xfce , using Linux mint 15 , might be a good choice to replace the operating system with

What model netbook is thier CD\* drive USB or SD?

I agree, I would choose a different distribution of Linux like Mint.
