Hi!

I have recently upgraded to KDE 3.3.2, now kde won't start automatically when I log in. I also don't get a choice of KDE or gnome session anymore just starts gnome by default.

I have added exec startkde in my .xinitrc so when I log out I go back to the prompt and if I type startx then KDE 3.3.2 starts OK.

I have tried mv my HOME .kde and /root/.kde same result

Also why when I log out from GNOME I go back to the prompt and not to a window to choose session and user as before (KDE 3.1)?

At the prompt as root if I type kdm nothing happens.
