Help removing default gateway

I was putting a lab together and put a default gateway on my laptop. Now I can't get out to the Internet. I've searched around the web for solutions and even tried a couple, but nothing has worked yet. Any help deleting the default route I put in place?

Here is the result of a route -n

Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface UG 0 0 0 wlan0 U 0 0 0 virbr1 U 1000 0 0 wlan0 U 0 0 0 vmnet1 U 2 0 0 wlan0 U 0 0 0 vmnet2 U 0 0 0 vmnet8 U 0 0 0 virbr0

Thank you in advance for any help.

I think "route del default" should do it.

Thanks for the response...

I ran "sudo route del default" (no errors) and rebooted. I'm still not about to get out to the web and the results of "route -n" look the same. Any ideas?
