Help! Program Crashes in Mepis

So, I have mepis installed and like it. Running the KDE desktop. Once in awhile a game crashes in Cedega (WineX) However, I cannot get it to close out, it just sits there crashed, and minimized with the sound going in the place it left off.

In windows XP I would simply force it to close with CTRL ALT DEL... however, in lniux, nothing I do will force it to shut,

help me please
