Make a backup of that file and change it to:

BOOTPROTO='dhcp'
MTU=''
REMOTE_IPADDR=''
STARTMODE='onboot'
UNIQUE='Ldfs.IQrnHhuH7'
WIRELESS='no'

and do a `/etc/init.d/network restart`

Or use Yast to do the same. The GUI in yast simple edits this file amoung other things.

servu.len.nu. 3600 IN A 81.17.198.127
Is this really your IP address?

There are some other things to look at: /etc/resolv.conf
Have you the correct name servers in there?

But really I think your problem here is routing. What did you put in for a route? The problem is here:

Sep 19 11:10:36 penaz ifup-route: Warning: Could not set up default route via interface eth0n Command ip route replace to default via 255.255.255.0 returned:n . RTNETLINK answers: Network is unreachablen Configuration line: default 255.255.255.0 - - n This needs NOT to be AN ERROR if you set up multiple interfaces.n See man 5 routes how to avoid this warning.n

Do you have many network interfaces that are conflicting routes? Is your firewll setup with the correct external device set?
