help on using tightVNC

Hi I have two linux box and one window box

I am able to run tightVNC server on my linux box1
and got the tightVNC client on the window box2 connect to that server

Now I want to set display on my linux box3 to display on to linux box1 so I can see it on my windox box2

I do not want to run vnc server on linux box3
and I keep getting error

Is there a simple way to do this?

Not with VNC , there you need the vnc server on each box you want to connect to .

Without vnc you can forward the X session with ssh so that you can ssh to BOX-X and start gui apps on the commandline.

But that exports single apps, not the complete Desktop
