i tried it on my older rig and got no problem.

Sempron socket A processor
AGP video card

I have tried cheatcodes like
linux skipddc

linux nohotplug

But the same error appears every time I try to install it. i think this happens after the irq something on the screen during installations.

What are the parameters the video card? What are the versions of the kernel and X window system of this distro? Anyway, among these messages there is something that I'm 99% sure shouldn't be there - that "rivafb". Sounds to me that the installer is picking wrong driver, but if I were you, I'd re-check the BIOS. Did this machine worked under Windows or other distros?

Hi there, thanks for the reply.

Im using Palit 7300GT 128MB/128bit ddr3 pci-e video card

The kernel version is I think it uses KDE 3.5.4.

My BIOS settings works with other distro(since i fond of trying other distros too). In fact, I am running Windows XP SP2, PCLinuxOS 2007 test3 and NimbleX 2007v2 on my computer. I want to add Bayanihan Linux 4.

By the way, I forgot to mention that i ws able to run and install Bayanihan on Windows using qemu, and on NimbleX using virtualbox without any problem...

Well, I'm not a hardware guru, but as I mentioned above, this "rivafb_setup" is what bothers me. This is for nVidia RIVA cards. Looks to me like incorrect hardware detection. Don't how to fix it though, sorry.
