Help needed to understand guide to restore MyBook World Edition

Hi,

I'm totally new at Linux and don't have any idea what I'm doing.

I've installed openSUSE 11.2 and I'm trying to restore my MyBook World Edition by using this guide.
http://mybookworld.wikidot.com/add-new-hdd-to-wdwe

It says the files can be downloaded from the links in this article, but I'm not seeing the links. Maybe I'm just too tired... But I believe the needed files are here... I'm not sure though.

The problem is that I've deleted the partitions on the harddisk and I'm trying to follow the guide to restore the disk. It's connected to my laptop with openSUSE via USB interface.

Could anyone please help me through the linked guide and help me understand what I'm supposed to do? It will be much appreciated!

thanks a lot!

Those links you posted contain some low level disk hacks. I can't even begin to explain to a beginner how to do what it says in those articles. I will say, the links that are supposed to be links, are not links.

Low level, as in hardware/machine code level or as in "even easy for a noob" level? :D
