Whenever I try to compile powwow 1.2.5 I get an error in the middle and it stops compiling. I have changed the CFLAGS enrty in MAKEFILE regarding to the helpfile but nothing changed about the error. I need some urgent help on this. And here goes the log:
Making Powwow for Linux
make CC='gcc' CDEFS='-Wall -Wshadow -pipe -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -DUSE_REGEXP' LDFLAGS='-lncurses'
WARNING: if you are coming from a 1.0.x version,
re-read Changelog and powwow.doc as many things have changed.

Originally posted by fancypiper I haven't tried SuSE yet, so I don't know. Have you tried installing it with yast? If SuSE can use rpms, you could search rpmfind.
Yes, I just looked at the SuSE included rpm's with yast. ncurses had been already installed, but its devel package wasn't. I installed that too and everything went fine. Thanks for your help guys.
