help me to setup softwares


hello everybody

i was using windows vista and finally i get fedora 8 and install it
now, how to setup a new softwares specially to play vedios?
and from where can i get these softwares ?

Fedora should include packages for that. Have you had a look at the Fedora wiki's multimedia FAQ?

Can you not write in huge printing?, There is a program called Add/Remove Programs in fedora that you can use to install programs, or you can use yum via the command line

yes , i know that

but some format like mpeg ,asf didn't work.
what can i do ?

If you know that, please follow the links in the FAQ about playing mp3 files. The info is already described there.
