"Help Me to know about ETIP"

Hi,

I am having some doubts regarding ETIP(Extended Terminal Interface prototype ) Character based user interface.

Its a one supported by UNIX server, can anyone please tell me whether it is supported by LINUX, in case if it supported, what version of it, and who owns this ETIP. It will be helpful for me if any one provide these details.

Do you have a link to any information on ETIP(anything)? Often things are known by different names.

Assuming you are refering to ETI and not ETIP:

Quote:

ncurses

A terminal handling library

The curses library routines are a terminal-independent method of
updating character screens with reasonable optimization. The ncurses
(new curses) library is a freely distributable replacement for the
discontinued 4.4 BSD classic curses library.
Which would appear to be at least part of what is referenced here:

Yes, its ETI only.

My requirement is to migrate from Sun Solaris to linux, in sun we are using ETI, i want to know whether linux will support ETI, if yes means what version will it supports, who is the license owner for it.

In case ncurses is needed to be used with linux means will this migration needed to be started from scratch, or with few modification will it be migrated to linux.

please clear these doubts, it will be very helpful to start my work.

I am also in need to know

Connect : Direct version 3.8 is supported by Linux 5
Lucents - nmake version 5.x(version more than 5) supports linux 5
GENI version 2.4 supports linux 5
Latest protocol that can be used in linux 5 to replace Datakit Interface SW

If any version is not support, suggest me which one is support by linux
