Help me to configure wireless setting with ADSL router
Can any one tell how to configure wireless setiings in my laptop with Linux operating system. I have configured the ADSL modem as router at window XP. Now how to access internet through wireless at my laptop. Please tell me as I amm new user of Linux

1) What is the make and model of your laptop?
2) How do you connect wirelessly? PCMIA? USB? Inbuilt? What is the make and model of your card?

In my experience (2 weeks) an up grade to Ubuntu7.10 made it work automatically...
(had a fight on my hands with Ubuntu7.04)
I am retired and not an IT person so sometimes i have Troubles also.
Keep a Gmail journal of sites.

An Inspron b120 with a Broadcom 44xx card... could no do the connect until 7.10
Hope this helps
