Guys am thinking about two things..

First to buy a new usb wifi adapter that supports unix systems linux etc ,it supports also monitor mode and packet injection when i get better with linux over time and improve my knowledge so i do tests on test servers (white hat).

Secondly to create my own driver for this(curse word goes here)tp link wifi usb that i have, that means huge package of pages that i must read and apply thus time and i don't have so much spare time for this....

So guys according to you all who read this message ..Which chipsets of wifi usb adapters support the above requirements ? And ofc are good for linux mint cuz i wanna start from mint and then move on to kali, black linux etc ..For dongles usb wifi adapters i heard that they aren't good for a desktop pc cuz they get overheated with usage and may cuz problems is that true ?

I prefer a plug and play wifi usb adapter with linux so to avoid all this mess that im going through this week!

My home router is tplink TD-W8960N..

Ty all for trying to help me..

P.s : as u can see my desktop is using if i ain't mistaken usb 2 port.
