help me Mount Usb/Ide external controller

I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 I have a USB/IDE External HDD; Nothing happens when I Plug it in the usb slot. lsusb recognizes it as

I'm not sure if this will help but it says on the back...

the front says Buslink tm USB Hard Drive..

I wasn't too sure how to get it to activate. so if I could get some help it would be very much appreciated

1. Are the neccessary drivers loaded ?

2. Which drivers are needed ?

For my adaptor I would need
/lib/modules/2.6.33.2/kernel/drivers/usb/serial/pl2303.ko

and you would perhaps need
/dma/pl330.ko . In my distro there is no pl330.ko but inside the kernel source .
