The Linux Mint Installation Guide is available in 24 languages. Download it in the language of your choice, read it from beginning to end, and then follow the instructions. If you get stuck at any step, you can ask for advice here. Be sure to tell us specifically what you have tried so far, and if there are any error messages, quote them in their entirety.
hello,
please help how install linux mint, that's all i waNT
From your other, duplicate thread:
Code:
please help me instal linux mint, i am unable to install since last year i tried sp hard to run but it always tell me hdd may be old or need to move cooler place.
If you've honestly been trying to install Mint for a *YEAR*, perhaps you'd be best off using whatever is on your computer now. And you don't tell us what you've done/tried so far, nor what exactly the message(s)/error(s) you're getting are, so what do you think we'll be able to tell you???
As said, Mint has easy to follow installation guides on their website; read and follow them. Otherwise, post what you have done, where you're stuck, and give exact details.
Assuming you have a problem with temperature or your hard disk...
Have you successfully run any other OS's on this computer?
Roughly how old is the hard disk and how old is the machine?
I used to have an issue installing Linux on my Desktop.
The issue was not the OS but desktop processor heat sink was not sitting properly. Therefore, installation works for a while and when the processor heats up everything goes south.
What is the specs of your computer? Is it a new one or it was sitting on the garage for a while and decided to used it again?
