OK I sort of figured it out, I installed "Sun Virtualbox" and was able to install and SEE everything! It's in 640x480 currently I'll have to play after updates are done! It's not dual booted but at least I can test drive.

whaaaaa? you went from Ubuntu to installing VB? what did you install VB on top of?

windows 7 home premium, Ive actually got both Ubuntu 9.10 and mint 8 to run on VB! It runs a little slow due to sharing system resources.

My only problem now is a lack of resolutions, currently shows 800x600 & 640x480 with a "driver compatibility issue" and "need to update driver" pop up!

For some it might not mean much but for me it's a milestone! Considering a year ago I thought a kernel was corn!

Baby steps for a geek in training!

LMAO! I hear ya man when I first got started I remember somebody mentioning the kernel waaaaay back in the day and as self deprecating as it is I remember thinking why is this guy making KFC sound sooo complicated.....it's chicken man! and you can get it from other places chill out....

(p.s intoxicating substances may or may not have been involved)
