Help Installing Dell Photo 720 Driver + Java 1.3.1
I've got Fedora Core 4.
I recently downloaded the Lexmark Z615 Driver (I'm supposed to use this driver according to HCL).
Anyway, what do I do with it now to make Fedora realize it's there?
Second question:
I downloaded Java 1.3.1 in both formats - .bin and rpm (or something). How do I install it?
I'm really new to Fedora and Linux in general.
Sorry about not making that a link (forum whatnot says I can't without 5 posts.
I don't know fedore core, but maybe you can pick your way through it if you read the article about Dell 720 / Lexmark Z615 printer on a openSUSE9.2Pro:
Why do you want to install that version of the JRE, why not the newest version (which is 1.5.0_04, I think)? You can find installation instructions for 1.5.0 here, they'll probably be similar for the older version if you still choose to use that.
