I am running Knoppix 3.4 and I cannot get kismet to run. I can get it to using Knoppix 3.3 simply by typing in kismet_monitor in the root shell and then in a new window i type in kismet and off we go. In 3.4 its a different story. I get
bash:kismet_monitor: command not found.
How do i install kismet? I have been trying to figure it out for a few hours with no luck what-so-ever. Thats why i deided it was time to ask some questions. Thanx for any help you could give.
Did you even figure out how to install Kismet? I'm trying to install it also using Cygwin, a linux emulator. There are a lot of commands I am unfamiliar with, though, and I do not know how to install! Thanks for the help.
Since the post I have not gotten much time. I did get some great help for it though. I can get it to run using Knoppix v3.3 with great results. I need to partition a spot on my lappy for a linux distro then I will play with it.
