Cool help in /var/www/html/!!


Hi
I know that the web files need to be in /var/www/html/ but, I want to upload the file to /home/htdocs, how can I make a link, so that when I upload it to /home/htdocs, can appears on the internet, it guees I could make a link to the folder, but if someone has a better wey it would be great!

have a look at your http.conf file. Should be in /et/apache
There is a line there that says "Document Root : /var/www/html"
It says that you can also use symbolic links, so it seems that you can edit that line and should be good to go.

ln -s <existing file> <symbolic link to be created>
