First, make sure your ISP doens't prohibit you from setting up any kind of server. (mine does)
If want to set up an email server, you might want to try sendmail (http://www.sendmail.org)
If you want to set up a webserver, you might want to try apache (just Google)

hello mibsun.

you said that your ip on with your adsl is dynamic. so the ip is then concently changing. if you want to run a sever you will need a static ip address. you can get this problem sorted out by using the app from http://www.noip.com/ and its free and you will all so get a free web name with the exstention of noip. so webname.noip

green-ears and may the source be with you
