Help in Puppy Linux "saving to HDD" option......

Hi all
I am currnetly using Puppy Linux 3.01 version. Using Puppy Frugal Installer
method, I have copied into my SATA HDD. Everything is working fine. For the first time when system shutdow, it was asking about save to HDD option.I selected the option and saved my files in /root. when system boots up for next time, i can find my files in /root. Now for me i want to disable the save HDD option from the second time. I have seen the echo messages in /etc/rc.d/rc.shutdown. But i dont know how to disable the HDD saving by editing the script file. Can anyone help me to solve the problem?

when you boot puppy it looks for the pup_sfs files then you push the number it want s if you have more then one. but when yopu shut down it auto saves it. I think I need more info.
