Help in knoppix 5.1.1 kernel upgrade
 

hi all
I am using Knoppix 5.1.1. The kernel version in it is 2.6.19.3. For me i want to upgrade into 2.6.23.12. Can anyone provide me a link to the document to upgrade the kernel.

I have installed the knoppix 5.1.1 using livecd. In that the kernel images are upto version 2.6.19. But knoppix 5.1.1 itself having 2.6.19.3. I want to update to the latest. I dont know how to proceed.can anyone help me.

I have created a debian linux image file for version 2.6.23.12 as per the page http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...&ct=image&cd=2
The above kernel image is taken by the way of boot the Knoppix live cd and done the steps for knoppix remastering and then image file is taken. But here i am not able to boot. Can anyone help to proceed with the same image file as kernel upgrade
