Help! how do I run x configurator?

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/l...a-xconfig.html

I've just installed fluxbuntu but had to reinstall it, the first time i installed it i got the screen resolution working with the x configurator shown in the link above.

I found how to open it on google searches, but now I can't find it again and cant remember how to get back into it to reconfigure fluxbuntu.

does anyone know how I can run it? also I need to run it without booting into the GUI because I tried a different way of modifying the xorg file and messed it up because I'm a retarded windows user who is still blindly typing the sudo command not understanding what it does.

In a terminal, try X -Configure
In red hat, there are scripts system-config-whatever
ls /usr/bin/system-config*

Also read man xorg.conf

Login as root and type
Code:
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
or as a user
Code:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

No problem, you can mark the thread solved using the thread tools.
And don't forget, always backup a file before making changes to it :-)
