Cool Help for getting upgraded kernel ..


I had updated my current os , so while updating i found kernel is also been updated , but a menu appeared stating menu.lst file and it had many options , i just opted for "keep the current version" , how can i get the updated kernel to my menu.lst

current : 2.6.27-9-generic

so i cudnt figure out is this the updated version or the old one
I updated on 31-1-2009

Can anybodyy help me ..
