help! fedora 6.90 live CD can not boot up on my pc

i tried to use a fedora 6.90 live CD on my home PC, but wouldn't boot
up, there was a message: vesamenu.c32: attempted dos system call, i
stopped there. at school, the CD worded well.

when you boot your PC go into the BIOS setup screen, (normally press del or a F key when it prompts)

the find the section on boot order.

make sure that the CD drive is set to boot before the hardrive

are you using an old machine?
I get the same error in my older machine, but not in two newer ones, it seems to be related to VESA compatibility

You can get past the vesamenu.c32 error by typing linux at the boot: prompt.
