i first made 2 partitions with Partition Magic 8 by telling it i wwanted to install another OS
after making the 2 partition (ext2 and swap) PM8 made my windows partition hidden
after installing linux mandrake 9.1 i wanted to boot into Win XP again, but the dualboot windows (lilo?) only displays
Linux
linux......(forgot what i sayed)
safemode(somethingm like that)
floppy
and not windows
in the configuration center i did a search for other OSes and it found 3 NT so i tried that, but everytime i reboot the dualboot windows stayes the same only saying the first 4 options
i also made the windows partition visible again using the back up disks op PM8 but that didn help
can some on help?? i really need to get into winxp asap!!
Maybe this thread will help a bit. I had big problems booting XP after installing RH9 using a partition created with Partition Magic. Maybe its just a matter of your boot loader not looking at the right partition.
i reinstalled linux and this time i used the other boot system (i forogt the name) and this time i did find Windows because i activatet the partition (darn Partition magic )
