I have read some of the previous posts on banshee,etc but i am not smart enough to understand it. I downloaded the amazon mp3 downloader and tried to install it and it said "Failed to install file. Unknown error. Please refer to the detailed report and report in your distribution bugtracker. More details - could not do simulate: 1:amazonmp3-1.0.9-1.i686 requires libboost_iostreams.so.4

Please help. I might need step by step instructions.
I have the same problem. logging in as root does not solve the problem for me. I also have followed the advice by Perish in FedoraForum.org > Fedora Support > Software > Amazon MP3 in Fedora 13 thread but I still can't have it running.
Looks like the OP needs different versions of the libraries that the software requires. sprklchild, are you still having a problem?

Interesting. I hadn't heard of this and since I've had no luck with asking Amazon to provide a tarball for their software (I don't care about it being closed source) for those of us who don't use RPM or .deb-based packages, I'll be taking a look at clamz.
