Question help cups printing to network printer


help required
I have connected a hp 610c on my mandrake linux 9 network
the machine it is attached to prints fine but when i try to print from other machines on the network i recieve an error message --
A print error occured. Error message received from system:

/usr//bin/lpr -P 'Printer' '-#1' '/tmp/kde-sledgexiv/kdeprint_X3N0PYl' : execution failed with message:
lpr: unable to print file: server-error-not-accepting-jobs
in properties it also says printer status-- Idle(not accepting jobs)

can anyone help this newbie????
