help--cann't boot debian


i deleted the logical disk-partition where linux is installed in windows,an now i cann't boot my debian linux.message is showed like:cann't mount root fs.

Sometimes we make this mistake.

Unless you have absolutely important files, you can try recovering.

But usually, Linux wont boot if you delete the drive parttions it resides on.

Assuming you haven't created or formatted the drive since the partition was deleted. If you know what blocks the logical partition was at you can try to recreate it using fdisk or cfdisk.

what i want to say is that i deleted the partition in windows because this partition can be seen in windows as disk E and when i want to open it, message is show like:"not formatted".of course i know it can't be opened.since i deleted it ,when booting debian, kernel can be loaded,but root fs can't be mounted.
