help!can't find redhat on the cd


hi nice people

ok,i'm new to linux ,and i wanted to install redhat ,after downloading and burning the iso and booting from floppy ,when it comes to reading from cdrom it says :can't find redhat on this cdrom even though i burned it twice ..i tried from hard disk and it's the same ..note that i installed mandrake 9 from harddisk and no problem with that
can you give me any advice ,should i re download it

Welcome to LQ

When you look at the contents of the CD, what do you see?

If it's a bunch of files and directories, then you probably want to redownload it and this time check against the md5 sums ( www.md5summer.com ) to make sure it downloaded completely.

If it's a single file, you are likely not burning it correctly. That's an image file, and consult your burning software for information on how to burn an image to a CD.
*Note: It's not the same as burning "DATA" or "AUDIO" to the CD.

ok, I know about the image files and so ,on the cd i see folders which are:redaht ,isolinux,dosutils,images ,and some html notes
i think nothing wrong with burning what do you think?
note that i checked it with md5 ,and nothingwas wrong..
