Question Help!!! BLANK SCREEN


I am trying to install mandrake 9.2. It all went well tell I rebooted. The screen went blank after reboot. I think that I might have the settings off for the monitor. How do I fix this I see no command prompt.

do you have consoles on <CTRL><ALT><F1..F6>?

so, do dat - enter your username and password and login. once ur logged in, type in 'startx', then post back here what the errors (if any) are.

I can't enter a password. User-name Know problem upper and lower case

umm, if you remember the root password (which you should), then for username, type in 'root' and the password for root.
