Help!!

I previously had vista loaded on my desktop system and had loaded vmware loaded and was running fedora core through the vmware. I have since installed windows 7 and reloaded the vmware and have tried numerous times to load fedora through the vmware like before. But a traditional install will not recognize my drives, I receive an error messages that says that there are no drives installed. I actually got it to install by forcing it through the steps but I could only access through the root and it wouldn't install the GUI that way. How do I fix this problem I need this for a class.

Q: What version of VMWare (version of VMWare workstation?) are you using to create this new VM?

Q: Please tell us the exact steps you're using to create the VM (what specific options you selected), and whether or not you encountered any errors or warnings creating the VM. In particular, which "Linux OS" option did you select? Which "hard drive" option? A SCSI drive? How big? Etc. The more details, the better.

Q: Do you have an .iso image of Fedora Core? Or a real bootable CD or DVD of Fedora Core? Exactly which *version* of Fedora Core?

Q: Do you happen to have a copy of the old VM you successfully ran under Vista/VMWare, and have you tried simply running it under your new Windows 7/VMWare install?
