Im using a xfce . the taskbar (i think its also called a panel? not sure) disapeared after i set the time. it did not disapear immediately, it was gone when i rebooted. instead there was an unconfigured panel on the desktop. when i right click to try and configure, no drop list comes down. How do i configure the panel. i need my taskbar back.

What you might do.

You might first edit your post giving it a more illuminative title. Try to improve the description of your problem naming your distro and assuring all that you have already googled extensively in search of a solution. You would then be less likely to be bypassed by possible helpers. Otherwise, welcome to the forum.
