Help!!!!

Hi!!
i am in the middle of a dual boot installation!!
--------------
I have a 10 gb where i have windows on it, I have another 80 gb and i have FC3 in it .
the kind of configuration i have is something similar to this

/dev/hda1 ----> windows
/dev/hdb1 -----> /boot
/dev/hdb2-------> FC3
have a swap partition in /hdb
and i am now installing Mandrake 10.1 in anothe partition within /dev/hdb
Now while installing Mandrake it's asking me where to install the boot loader..

What option do i select
1. First sector of drive (MBR)
2.First sector of root partition
3.On floppy
4.Skip

Do i skip and then go to FC3 grub file and edit something for it to boot mandrake?
I haent got a clear idea. Please Help.
Thanx for all the time and effort.
Regards azzath.

I don't use grub, but I do use lilo. I never install lilo again when installing a new distro. I select skip, then manualy edit lilo (in your case grub) to boot the new partition.

That will be a lot less editing than letting Mandrake install a bootloader over the first.

Talking

I would suggest that you go ahead and let Mandrake install its grub loader. Once its installed you cant get access to Fedora Core. But if you follow the instructions in this thread, I think you should be able to fix the problem

If you still have a problem, let me know
