ok i am useing suse 9.0 and last night my user "vhate" worked fine i turn computer on this morning it dont work no more it dont auto load into it either, it just goes to logon screen and i gotta type Root + Pword to enter KDE desktop, from there how do i fix this problem, i am on the KDE desktop logged in as root ?? and what possibly has happend here ???

No idea what might have happened ...

If you open a konsole, and type
su - vhate

Do you get any error messages, does it work?
