Hello new Linux User kinda of

I have tried Linux in the past with failure but I decided to give it another shot with Suse 10.1 I have a Thinkpad T 22 900 Mhz with 256 ram , going to dual partition it for now with XP . Eventually once I get more comfortable with Suse bye bye Windows.

The question I have with the disc manager in Linux could I delete the Windows partition and just use it for linux .

going to read some of these posts on the forums see if i can find anything I am reading the suse bible or whatever it's called

cheers

During the install, when you get to the partioning part, it will ask you if you want to use the whole hardrive, if you say yes, then it will wipe out windows. Just be carefull and make sure you know what you want to do before you wipe it. There are also partioning tools to resize the windows partion so you can run both from the same hardrive.
