Question Airtel gprs connection PROBLEM.....


hello........
iam selva from tamilnadu......
i am new to linux environment....
currently i am working in ubuntu 10.10.....
now i have one doubt......
how to connect airtel gprs in my tosiba laptop.....
please help me......

Welcome to LQ.

Have you searched google a bit on that? You should find some answers. Also tell what make and model your phone is and how do you connect it to your laptop. Also, if you use your phone to connect to internet in windows, give those steps as well.
And edit your post to use some descriptive title for your post and remove the email id if you do not want spams in your inbox.

Thumbs up Airtel gprs connection problem resolved......

thanks finally i connect airtel gprs in my lap.....thanks LQ

I AM USING UBUNTU 10.10
GO TO SYSTEM->PREFERENCE->NETWORK CONNECTION...
DIALOG BOX APPEARS..
IN THAT SO MUCH OF TABS THERE LIKE WIRED,WIRELESS,MOBILE BROADBAND,VPN AND DSL.....
GO TO MOBILE BRAODBAND
I AM CONNECTION VIA BLUETOOTH IN MY TOSIBA SATELLITE LAP....
SET ALL THOSE SETTINGS AND APN
THEN TOWER LIKE SYMBOL CONNECTE IN THE UPPER CORNER......

You should mark your thread solved from thread tools if you think issue is resolved. Also if you can, give the solution how you resolved the issue. This will help other members with similar issue coming here.

Also, please use better thread titles in future. "hello" says nothing about your question and you are told to use descriptive titles when posting threads here.
