Using SUSE 9.0, and have persuaded linux to allow me to type in hebrew and in teh correct direction, although only one font on the system. SO far two evenings wasted!
I downloaded a tar file of fonts from http://elmar.co.il/wwh/wwh/xfiles/H.fonts/index.en.html First, according to the instructions on the page, i untarred the files into /root/.fonts then entered and got: linux:~ # xset +fp .fonts Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key xset: unable to open display ":0.0" i get a similar reply when typing xset q any help in solving this problem would be gratefully receiived many thanks ben |
