HDD problem after improper shutdown...


Some time ago, I installed Red Hat in my box, then one day it got stucked... and I had to turn it off manually... then when I tried to get to Linux, I got a messge saying there was a prob with the drive (or file system).. I know there is a cmd to fix this... but honestly I cant remember what that is...

any help will be greatly appreciated...

fsck /dev/hdb2
where you should replace /dev/hdb2 with the partition you want to check.
