HDD not displaying

Hi I have connected new HDD 80GB but when i give command
fdisk -l its not displaying second hard disk, but in BIOS it displays.
During installation partition done through LVM.

What linux distribution/version are you running?

Are you root or using sudo to display output of fdisk -l?

What type of drive? IDE(PATA), SATA?

I found solution HHD was not detecting thank u very much..
