I edited the autoexecute file from windows setting the D:\ as the temp dir by adding "SET TEMP=D:\Temp SET TMP=D:\Temp" Don't know if it got anything to do with the problem I have. I got a iomega Zip 100 drive NEC and a Generic IDE disc type 46 (don't know branch) write-behind caching of all discs are disabled, again don't know if it got to do with anything.. I hope that somebody can help me getting closer to succesfully install mandrake. newbie |
someone, if you have a solution,
please reply. could any jumper connection be a problem. Don't have a clue thanks in advance newbie |
Well might not be your problem, but from your post I don't see any native linux Filesystems. I would make one, probably ext3, if you are worried about space, give it only enought install the OS and then maybe a few extra hundred MB. Maybe 2.5GB for entire distro, then share a Fat32 drive.
Just an idea Cool |
