Having trouble connecting to Wireless Network in ubuntu
 

I'm wondering how to connect to my wireless network in Ubuntu with KDE interface. My network is protected by a key and I do not know anywhere to insert the key. I don't have problems connecting to my network with GNOME interface, just KDE.

Knetworkmanager?
 

Have you tried using knetworkmanager? Try running knetworkmanager from the run dialogue. It should allow you to use encryption keys and connect to wireless networks with ease.

I actually tried that before. Didn't work. I'm just gonna stick with GNOME because all of this for an interface isn't worth it. Thanks though.
