Having problems with ndiswrapper

Ok this is one of the strangest ones yet.

I have a Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter but I cant get on the internet with it.

The laptop is running Damn Small Linux.

Heres what is going on and the code I typed:

ndiswrapper -i rt73.INF

ndiswrapper -l

modprobe ndiswrapper

iwconfig

--------------------------------------------

ndiswrapper says the driver and hardware are present but iwconfig and ifconfig don't say anything.

The wireless adapter works fine in windows 2000 and windows xp with the same driver.

The green LED on the wireless adapter never flashes like it is supposed to.

Am I missing something???

I have a lot of patience but I am kinda in a hurry here.

Surely somebody has had this problem before... perhaps not with this adapter but the same problem never the less.

As best as I can tell it fails silently during the modprobe ndiswrapper command.

Ndiswrapper says it detects everything. :-/

1: Sorry I was just having a bad day. :-/

2: There wasn't any information. It just executed the commands with no information. Is there any log for modprobe? Perhaps it is just not printing any errors to the terminal but logging it.
