Well, in all honestly, it's probably a "kludge" of a solution. I started with a completely clean drive, ran live CD of ubunutu and got gparted and divied up the drive space as i wanted it, including the small boot drive (which gparted let me designate as /boot), in installed windows, and went back and did ubuntu

So during ubuntu installation you mounted bootloader partition to /boot .
Now if we install fedora, and there also we choose the same bootloader partition to be mounted to /boot, will it be all right for both OS? Will the grub menu properly show both OS?

I would imagine so, as long as you're installing an OS that doesn't think it's the only one out there and will search your hard drives for other OS's and (maybe) is using the same version of GRUB )not sure on that just a guess) it should either append the file or rewrite it, but since i'ts in the same location, it shouldnt matter. Awaiting more experienced opinions though.
