have problem uninstalling linux mint
i have a complicated (i think) problem:
when i got my new laptop (dell studio 1555) i tried to set up a live booting linux on my USB using unetbootin. it didnt work, but the problem is, when i got back to my (vista) desktop, it asked if i wanted to install, i mistook the -install alongside windows- for somehting else, and ever since, when i boot, i get the option to boot from vista (good) or linux mint that doesnt work (not so good).
i have just ordered my free windows seven upgrade pack, and do not want the linux to be there when i upgrade.
i have tried to use partedmagic to see if there is a partition (no there isnt, however there is a small one named dell utility that i want to know more about)
i have searched all over the HD and not found it so...
HELP!!!

The problem does not seem to complicated really.
Sounds like you have replaced the windows boot loader with grub you need to reinstall the windows boot loader to the MBR. Grub will be pointing at mint for one option and one at the windows boot loader.
So what you need to do is rewrite the vista boot loader to the MBR you could use easyBCD here is a tutorial.
In future could please use standard size font |

I think maybe you installed Mint INTO your windows partition via Wubi??
Look in your Programs folder
and does Mint show up under Programs menu?

there was two possibilities,
1. The windows partition have formatted when you install the Linux Mint, it's sound so bad and I hope it's not happened
2. The windows partition is still exist but it's bootloader has been replaced by Linux Mints. Yes, try to Use easyBCD because I have proofed it and works well.

i never thought to check the boot loaders, so, my thickness
easyBCD worked a storm, and you have saved me a lot of trouble with work.
